AVP, Customer Service and Sales Manager – 1372503

The Gig:

 

Our client is hiring a Customer Service and Sales Manager to facilitate the loan process for a portfolio of retail consumer and business customers, as well as generating new business. Help your customers by opening accounts and cross selling bank products while referring them to other areas of the bank as appropriate. You’ll bring excellent customer service, operational support, and knowledge of bank regulations as you travel to various branches within the region.

  • Proactively identify and bring new clients to the bank.
  • Maintain and expand branch relationships with active portfolio management.
  • Cross sell bank products/ services.
  • Perform customer service functions and account maintenance.
  • Network and represent the bank in community affairs as appropriate.
  • Assist in branch operations as needed.
  • Provide training and mentoring for other members of the team.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Has high-level customer service, assessing customer needs and applying critical thinking.
  • Exposure to regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Has a willingness to travel within a 30-50 mile radius.
  • Has or wants to obtain MLO status to originate mortgage loans.
  • Bilingual Mandarin or Cantonese is a huge plus, but not required.

 

The Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business related discipline preferred.
  • 5+ years of retail bank experience with an emphasis on sales and business development.
  • Knowledge of the bank industry, products, and services, and regulations.

 

The Pay:

  • $26.44 – $40.87 / hour base hourly pay. Pay is negotiable depending on a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills and experience, education, and geographic location.
