The Gig:

Our client is hiring a Senior Accountant to lead a team of accountants responsible for creating financial statements and providing accounting services for real estate sales and technology companies.

This opportunity is ideal for someone looking to make the next step in their career or bring experience and management skills to a new role.

• Review financial statements.
• Prepare reports and provide analysis.
• Perform daily accounting operations.
• Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements for multiple entities.
• Code invoices, set up new accounts, and reconcile accounts.
• Provide lead functions and help coordinate the daily work of the Accounting team.
• Work with business partners to ensure smooth financial statement preparation.
• Opportunities to develop specialties within the accounting department.

The People:

• The Controller will develop the Senior Accountant.
• Leadership understands that it takes a team, and encourage collaboration within the team and across departments.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload.
• Attention to detail and quality recordkeeping.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
• NetSuite experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

The Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.
• 3+ years as an accountant.
• Experience working in real estate businesses is a plus, but not required.

The Pay:

• $65k to $85k+ base salary. Pay is negotiable depending on a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills and experience, education, and geographic location.

• In person at the office in Bellingham, WA. Hybrid work flexibility once the Senior Accountant is settled.
