The Gig: 

The Commercial Loan Officer is responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of commercial clients and good business relationships in the greater Riverside area that lead to C&I loans, deposits, and other banking products. While a lot of banks are laying people off and not lending, this bank is in growth mode and are even still doing investor real estate loans. They are rated one of the healthiest banks in California.

Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain relationships with clients to increase reoccurring production and originate commercial loans. 
  • Work to bring in solid loans including investor real estate, owner occupied commercial real estate, C&I, etc. 
  • Maintain client database, client and customer calling/monitoring efforts, marketing, and referrals.  
  • Facilitate loan approvals and expedite production by communicating commercial lending policies and procedures. 
  • Complies with and stays abreast of all policies and procedures, federal and state laws. 
  • Participate in various community and civic activities in Riverside County. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Marketing or relevant discipline – preferred. 
  • At least 5+ years of commercial banking experience. 
  • An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered. 
  • Ability to articulate credit quality and evaluate a good deal from a bad one without a ton of supervision. 
  • Exceptional networking and relationship building skills. 

 

The Pay: 

Our client offers a competitive total compensation package including base salary, incentive, and other benefits. The base salary range for this position is approximately $120,000 to $190,000 per year, and depends on a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills and experience, education, and geographic location.
