Note Department Manager – 1673463

The Gig:


The Note Department Manager is responsible for all loan operations activities and support of C&I, Commercial Real Estate, SBA, Construction, and Residential loans.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Manage all note department processes, personnel, projects, and functions, including loan processing, loan documentation, loan boarding, loan servicing, quality control, etc.
  • Ensure proper loan documentation and collateral perfection of all commercial loan transactions.
  • Draft loan documents for new originations, extensions, modifications, and renewals using LaserPro.
  • Fund draws for construction loans.
  • Lead and coordinate title and escrow interface and ensure appropriate title policies are obtained on all real estate-secured commercial real estate transactions.
  • Draft note department-related procedures for critical processes and ensure a risk-based quality control and call-back process is adhered to across the department.
  • Manage all loan-related data on the accounting core, FIS Horizon.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Must have experience in LaserPro.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Sharp attention to detail.
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing bank environments.


The Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or another related field is preferred, but not required. Equivalent experience or certifications accepted.
  • Minimum 10 years in banking, a majority in commercial loan processing.
  • High-level management and leadership experience is a must.


The Pay:

  • Roughly $145k – $240k+ base salary. Pay is negotiable depending on a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills and experience, education, and geographic location.


The Location:

  • Full-time and in-office located in Irvine California.
