Deposits and Treasury Management Sales Officer

Position Summary (The Gig): A regional bank with locations across 8 states is looking for a Treasury Management and Deposits Sales Officer for their Dallas-Fort Worth Texas market. This person will focus on deposit gathering and treasury management products and establish long-term relationships in local communities. This person will work with a variety of industries and businesses including, but not limited to property management, HOAs, government entities, retail, hospitality, healthcare, manufacturing, distributing, agriculture, retail, high net worth individuals, etc.

  • Achieve/exceed key objectives and goals in, business development, client retention, deposit growth, portfolio quality, fee income, cross sales, referrals, client satisfaction, and knowledge of comprehensive cash management solutions.
  • Develop treasury management sales proposals and pricing pro formas for prospective and existing clients to further develop and strengthen business relationships.
  • Conduct annual cash management reviews for top-tier commercial clients.
  • Serve as the internal Bank expert for treasury management products and services, deliver internal cash management presentations, and actively participate in sales meetings, joint call planning, and prospect development, in partnership with the region’s commercial lending and branch officers.
  • Partner with commercial lenders in pre-proposal discussions to fully understand client needs and shape preferred solutions.
  • Actively participate in joint client and prospect calls and presentations with commercial lenders and branch sales officers to further business development and sales efforts; leads cash management discussions with clients and prospects, identifying and assessing client needs and challenges and communicating features/benefits of Bank programs, cash management products, and services.
  • Directly responsible for managing and retention of client’s operating business by ensuring client satisfaction
  • Prospect and network to create relationships that will drive new deposit opportunities across the footprint.
  • Develop a strategic sales plan for retention and cross-selling opportunities for both existing and new clients.
  • Comply with the Bank’s compliance requirements.



  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in banking, deposit gathering, and treasury management.
  • Proven track record for developing new sales, closing sales, and achieving annual objectives for cash management sales goals, fee income generation, cross sales, and referrals.
  • Must have local relationships and contacts.
  • Excellent relationship management skills – must be able to cold call, develop, and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to hear what a prospect/client needs and translate that into a marketable solution.
  • Ability to work well independently, be self-motivated, and have good time management skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to a dynamic and changing environment.

The Pay:

Competitive total compensation package including base salary, incentive, and other benefits. The exact pay depends on a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills and experience, past and current performance, education, and geographic location.
