SBA Manager

The SBA Sales Manager/Team Leader is responsible for driving growth and profitability in the SBA loan portfolio, collaborating with retail branches and the SBA sales team. This role involves developing sales strategies, mentoring staff, and maintaining relationships with external partners to maximize loan production. Key duties include generating SBA loan opportunities, deposits, and treasury management referrals, managing a $12 million annual loan production goal, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. The position requires deep knowledge of SBA lending, business development skills, and the ability to cultivate strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. Leadership skills, strategic planning, and expertise in SBA processes are essential.

Qualifications include six years of experience in commercial lending, particularly SBA, and a bachelor’s degree in a related field. Treasury management training is preferred. Some travel is required for market development and training.This person will have a seat at the table with other commercial lending leaders.
