Paul Wright

Paul Wright specializes in commercial banking roles on our Southern California and Minnesota teams. He was recruited from a sales role where he regularly ranked top in the nation. He spent five years getting to know small business owners and hearing about their frustrations, hopes, and goals for their businesses and communities. With that unique perspective, Paul has a strong understanding of how important commercial lenders are in their advisory role with their clients.

Paul attended Western Washington University where he studied Public Relations and Journalism. He has always been interested in the concept of communication and specifically how people communicate, and his education lines up well for him as he matches people and companies. Paul does not mince words, and he doesn’t mess around. He once pitched in a high producing banker to a potential client who had expressed desire to see such candidates, only to be offered a finder’s fee that was so insulting Paul simply told him: “I don’t have time for this,” before moving on to his next call. Paul is married to fellow recruiter and record breaker, Taryn, and the two spend their time on home improvement projects, exploring local restaurants and breweries, and taking their rescue lab/chihuahua mix Freddy to dog parks.
