Overview

HireQuest Northwest is seeking a hands-on Area Manager to lead and grow multiple branches across the NW region.

This role is responsible for driving revenue, developing leaders, and ensuring operational excellence across all locations.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is motivated by growth, accountability, and results.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Operations

  • Lead and support Branch Managers, Assistant Branch Managers, and staff
  • Oversee daily operations across multiple locations
  • Conduct regular branch visits to ensure performance and consistency
  • Set clear expectations and hold teams accountable
  • Sales & Business Development
  • Drive 10–20% year-over-year revenue growth
  • Partner with branches on client visits and new business development
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and expanding services
  • Support and lead sales efforts across the region

Client Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Resolve client concerns quickly and professionally

Team Development

  • Recruit, train, and develop high-performing teams
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and performance management
  • Promote a positive and accountable team culture

Financial Oversight

  • Monitor branch performance, budgets, and profitability
  • Analyze KPIs and implement improvements
  • Drive cost-effective operations

Compliance & Quality

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
  • Maintain high standards of service for clients and workers
  • Address employee and client issues promptly

Qualifications

  • Leadership experience in staffing, construction, or the service industry preferred
  • Strong sales and business development experience
  • Ability to manage multiple locations and priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of labor laws and workforce management
  • Willingness to travel within the region
